Educational Qualifications
- PhD in Surface Chemistry with Prof. S. L. Bernasek, Dept. of Chemistry, Princeton University, Princeton (1982-1987);
- BSc in Physical Chemistry, Dept. of Chemistry, Fudan University, Shanghai, China (1978-1982)
Research Interests
Our research work is focused on four topics:
a) Surface chemistry of excited adsorbates on metal and semiconductors
b) Interactions of reactive atomic beams with surfaces
c) The chemical reactivities of 2-D metal films supported on insulators
d) Synthesis and applications of nano-materials
