Tianjin University (TJU) - NUS Joint Institute in Fuzhou

Fuzhou Joint Institute is a partnership among Tianjin University (TJU), NUS, the Education Department of Fujian Province and the People’s Government of Fuzhou City. The four parties signed the Agreement for the establishment of Tianjin University-National University of Singapore Joint Institute in Fuzhou in December 2018.

Drawing on the strengths and resources of two elite universities, the Joint Institute aspires to be a world-class joint research, innovation and education powerhouse driving cutting-edge research, innovation and technology transfer, as well as the cultivation of future-ready top talents. Aligned with China’s national development strategies and the socio-economic development requirements of Fujian, the Institute’s strategic research thrusts include flexible electronics, emerging optoelectronics, advanced manufacturing, energy materials and catalysis.
