NUS Research Institute in Chongqing
Leveraging on NUS’ excellent research expertise and global resources in a broad spectrum of areas, NUSRI CQ a joint set-up of NUS and Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee, will develop high-end research platforms in the areas of advanced materials and manufacturing, information engineering and artificial intelligence, modern logistics, as well as finance and risk management in the western region of China.
NUSRI Chongqing will also contribute to research talents’ development by bringing the NUS PhD programmes and research opportunities to the outstanding young researchers and individuals to meet the scientific and professional educational needs from the region.
In line with the theme and directions set for China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity, the third state level cooperative project between the Singapore and China governments, NUSRI Chongqing will also build to be the high-tech industry incubation base for technology transfer, entrepreneurship and innovation-related activities.

for BLOCK71 in China
And aims to establish an international technology ndustrialisation platform with a high standard incubation centre.
